Governor Moore: Kick Deportation Airlines Out of BWI!

Avelo Airlines flies in and out of BWI airport. In April, they became the only passenger airline in the country to fly deportation flights for ICE.
Please sign and share this petition demanding the State of Maryland end all collaboration with Avelo Airlines and stop allowing them access to BWI Airport while they profit from Trump's illegal and immoral deportations.
Dear Governor Wes Moore,
We denounce the Trump Administration’s inhumane, unlawful mass deportations and demand the State of Maryland end all cooperation with Avelo Airlines as long as it keeps profiting from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation flights.
Avelo is the only passenger airline in the country that works with ICE. In April, the company announced a $150 million contract to fly deportation flights, which Avelo CEO Andrew Levy has explicitly said they are doing solely to increase their profits.
Because ICE operates with little transparency, there is no way for the public to know how many Maryland residents, like Kilmar Abrego Garcia, have been stripped of their rights and deported with no way to return to their loved ones. But we do know that ICE relies heavily on private airlines like Avelo to carry out such deportations.
As a fully state-owned and operated airport, BWI should have no business collaborating with companies who benefit from Trump Administration policies that endanger the safety and civil liberties of Maryland residents.
We call on Governor Wes Moore and the Maryland Aviation Authority to immediately break all contracts with Avelo Airlines.
We further pledge to boycott Avelo until it cancels all its plans to carry out deportation and deportation-related flights.
